Retrenchment, resignation or dismissal

If you leave employment with the Australian Government or a participating employer, and you have not commenced employment with another participating employer, and you have not reached your preservation age some or all of your benefit must be preserved.

This means you have to stop making contributions to the PSSap and cannot take your benefit as cash but must keep it within the superannuation system.
Your options are to:

  1. preserve your PSSap benefit with us; or
  2. transfer to another complying fund.
