When you start working for the Australian Government, your employer will give you a choice of fund form within 28 days of your starting, or on your request.
If you don't make a choice about which super fund you would like to join, you will become a member of your employer's default fund. Your employer should give you a product disclosure statement (PDS) for their default fund when you start your new job.
If the PSSap is your employer's default fund, and you're eligible to join, then you automatically become a member, unless you choose to join another fund.
If you would like more information, see the Quick Guide, which gives you a snapshot about the PSSap.
To help you make a decision about your super, find out how the independent ratings agency, SuperRatings Pty Ltd rates the PSSap.
Once we activate your membership, we will send you a membership card followed by an online access number.
