ARIA's performance vs. competitors: above median over short and long-term periods

Over the one-year period to November 2010 our three schemes default funds (PSS Default Fund, CSS Default Fund and PSSap Trustee Choice) rank in the 1st quartile with returns of 6.5%, 6.6% and 6.1% respectively.

These funds also rank above median over the longer time periods (all funds: 3-year, 5-year; PSS and CSS only: 7-year and 10-year-periods to November 2010).

Since the inception of the CSS (our longest running fund) in 1976, our fund has returned a real rate of return of 4.7% per annum which is above our objective.

We define ARIA's default funds' competitors as the funds within the SuperRatings Balanced Option Index universe of 50 superannuation funds.
