Government’s tax changes benefit members with a terminal illness

The government has announced changes to the taxation of some benefit payments which will benefit members who are diagnosed with a terminal illness.  Under these new rules, members who are diagnosed with a terminal illness can now receive their full benefit payment tax free regardless of their age at the time of payment.
