Changes to eligibility for salary based Death and TPD cover and Income Protection from 1 February 2007

As a member of the PSSap, you have an option between salary based or unit based Death and TPD cover. Your employment status determines which default option applies to you, for example whether you are a permanent or casual employee or have a contract of more or less than three months.

From 1 February 2007, a minor amendment will come into effect regarding the eligibility for the salary based option and income protection for members with contracts of less than three months. The eligibility criteria for other employment categories remain unchanged.
