Advice and staying informed

If you want advice

We are licensed to provide general advice about the PSSap and superannuation through our authorised representatives. We cannot provide you with advice based on your individual objectives, financial situation and needs.

Your employer is not licensed and must not give advice or make any recommendations regarding the PSSap or other superannuation funds.

Before making any decisions about your super, we recommend you seek advice from a licensed professional such as financial adviser.

Choosing an adviser is an important decision and you should make your selection carefully. Take a look at your lifestage decisions, where you'll find useful guides such as DON'T KISS YOUR MONEY GOODBYE — a step-by-step guide to choosing the right financial adviser, published by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in association with the Financial Planning Association of Australia.

Also make sure that your adviser is familiar with the features of the PSSap.

To help you stay informed

To help you stay informed about your super, every year we will send you:

Your employer is required to provide you with details of the contributions it has made at least once each quarter. They will usually do so on your pay advice.

If a significant event occurs, and we believe it will materially and adversely affect you, we are required by law to advise you.
